Backstory

Long ago, a Deity of Chaos was exiled to the mortal plane, taking refuge within an intricate network of tunnels. A lover of mischief and transformation, this entity amused themself by reshaping matter. Many, awed by these marvels, turned the place into a pilgrimage site.

As centuries passed, the deity appeared to vanish, as did the devotees. Although traces of the transmuting force remained trapped in the depths.

Some decades ago, a congregation of monks settled in the caves, retreating to the lower levels, never to behold sunlight again. Their vows included willingly relinquishing their sense of sight. Their purpose: to expand their minds by developing extrasensory abilities beyond the mundane and thuse become telepaths.

A few days ago, you were recruited by Hanush, a mysterious figure rumored to possess knowledge of alchemical brews and forbidden rituals, willing to pay a handsome sum for certain rare ingredients. Your task: to delve into this ancient, forgotten abyss and retrieve them.

Caverns of the Sacred Fire is an independent production by Francisco Lemos and is not affiliated with Questing Beast LLC.

This is a great piece of work Francisco. I love everything here. The map might become a little challenge for the GM about how to keep the PCs on track but if one takes a moment to study the incredibly wonderful map, that shounldn't be a real problem.

Great! 5/5

Hi Green, thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it.
On the challenge of keeping PCs on track, an OSR approach could probably be: lets go without track!  :-D

Awesome work! Any plans for a print version?

Thanks Skip!
